Cookie Policy

Effective date: 28 July 2026 · Last updated: 28 July 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Nosibele Design & Embroidery uses cookies and similar technologies on www.nosibeleembroidery.co.za. It should be read with our Privacy Notice.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. They can help a website remember choices, keep the site secure, or measure visits.

Similar browser technologies

This site also uses browser storage such as sessionStorage for your cookie choice during the current browsing session. We do not use permanent localStorage to remember consent in a way that would prevent the banner from appearing in a new browser session.

Why the website uses them

Necessary storage

Necessary storage is required for basic function. It does not load Google Analytics by itself.

Optional analytics

If you choose Accept all, or enable Analytics in preferences, we load Google Analytics (measurement ID G-WH87LWEPJB) with IP anonymisation requested. Before that choice, analytics scripts are not loaded and analytics storage consent remains denied.

Optional marketing

No marketing pixels or advertising tags are currently active on this website. The preferences panel lists marketing as unused/disabled.

External media

We do not currently load optional tracking media embeds behind consent. The Contact page may include a Google Maps embed as part of showing our studio location.

sessionStorage

NameProviderPurposeDurationCategory
nb_consent_v2 Nosibele (first party) Stores Accept / Reject / custom preferences for the current browser session Session (cleared when the browser session ends) Necessary

localStorage

An older key named nb_consent may have been used by a previous banner implementation. The current consent script clears that legacy key when a new session choice is saved. It is not used to permanently suppress the new session banner.

Known analytics cookies (only after consent)

NameProviderPurposeDurationCategory
_ga, _ga_*, _gid Google Analytics Distinguish visitors / sessions for aggregated website measurement Up to 2 years / shorter session periods, per Google Analytics (optional)

How to change consent

Use or the Cookie Settings link in the website footer. Your choice applies to the current browser session. Opening a new browser session shows the banner again until you choose.

Browser controls

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary storage may affect how the consent tool remembers your choice during the session.
