Quotation & Order Terms

Effective date: 30 July 2026 · Last updated: 30 July 2026

These terms apply to quotation requests and custom embroidery, printing and apparel orders with Nosibele Design & Embroidery (“Nosibele”, “we”, “us”). A quotation is not an accepted order. Specific line items on a quotation may refine these rules for that job.

1. Quotation and order process

  1. You submit a quotation request (website form, WhatsApp, email or in studio).
  2. Nosibele reviews product, quantity, garment source and artwork.
  3. A formal quotation is issued.
  4. You approve the quotation.
  5. You pay the required deposit (see Deposits and payments).
  6. An artwork proof is prepared where needed; you confirm spelling, colours, positioning and sizes.
  7. Production begins only after approved quotation, required deposit, and confirmed artwork/order details.
  8. Quality check.
  9. You pay any outstanding balance before collection or delivery.
  10. Collection or courier as agreed on the quotation.

Important: Submitting the website form is a request for a quotation, not acceptance of an order and not a contract to produce goods.

2. Quotation validity

Unless a quotation states a validity period, pricing and timing remain open for a reasonable discussion period. Pricing may change if materials, artwork, quantity or requirements change.

3. Prices and VAT

Website prices marked “from” or “price on enquiry” are guides only in South African rand. Prices are quoted in South African rand. VAT will only be charged where legally applicable and shown on the quotation. Nosibele does not claim VAT registration or publish a VAT number on this website until independently verified. A quotation confirms, as applicable: garment cost, branding method, digitising/setup, minimum quantity, size/colour/placement limits, courier cost, and any urgency surcharge.

4. Deposits and payments

A 50% deposit is required before production begins. The remaining balance is payable before collection or delivery.

Nosibele may require a higher deposit or full payment for urgent orders, special-order materials, unusually large orders or work carrying significant upfront costs.

Finished work may be withheld until the outstanding balance is paid. Do not send payment-card details through the public website form. For invoices, payments, statements or account queries, email accounts@nosibeleembroidery.co.za. Accepted payment methods are confirmed on the quotation or invoice — this website does not list payment methods that have not been verified for publication.

5. Artwork approval

Artwork may be provided by you (PNG, JPG or PDF preferred) or prepared by us.

Website quotation form: You may attach PNG, JPG or PDF artwork directly on the quotation form. Attached files are sent with the same quotation request to quotes@nosibeleembroidery.co.za via our form provider (Formspree). Limits: up to 3 files per request; maximum 8 MB per file; PNG, JPG and PDF only. We may reject files that are corrupted, unsafe, unreadable, or outside these limits.

Your responsibility: You must have the legal right to use every logo, brand, image, name, photograph, artwork or design you supply. You confirm that supplying artwork does not infringe another person’s intellectual property, privacy or other rights. You remain responsible for checking spelling, sizing, placement and colours before approving artwork. Production proceeds on the approved version. Changes after approval may affect price and lead time.

Quotation requests (with or without attachments) may also be sent to quotes@nosibeleembroidery.co.za or via WhatsApp. Attaching artwork does not create an accepted order.

6. Production timing

Production starts only after approved quotation, the required deposit, and confirmed artwork/order details. Lead times depend on quantity, method and studio workload and are confirmed per quotation. Timing estimates are not guarantees.

7. Personalised goods

Most catalogue items are made to order and personalised. Personalised goods are generally not returnable for change of mind once production has started or artwork has been approved, except where South African consumer law requires otherwise or where we confirm a defect attributable to us.

8. Customer-supplied garments and content

If you supply garments for branding, tell us about fabric type and condition. Risks relating to customer-supplied stock are discussed when we quote. You are responsible for the legality and permissions for customer-supplied content (logos, names, images).

9. Delivery and courier

Collection from our Durban studio is available during published business hours. Courier options may be available; cost and arrangements are confirmed on the quotation. We do not guarantee nationwide delivery. Delivery timing estimates are not guarantees.

10. Collection

When goods are ready, we will notify you using the contact details you provided. Please collect within a reasonable time after notification. Outstanding balances remain payable before release. For confirmed-order updates, collection or delivery queries, email orders@nosibeleembroidery.co.za.

11. Cancellation and refunds

See also the Cancellation and Refund Policy.

You may cancel a quotation request at any time before accepting a quotation and paying a deposit. After deposit payment and/or artwork approval, cancellation may not be possible for work already started, or may involve charges for materials and labour already committed. We do not promise automatic refunds for customised or personalised work. If we accept that goods are defective or not as approved, we will discuss remake, repair or refund options appropriate to the order. Nothing here limits rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 where it applies.

12. Complaints

  1. Contact info@nosibeleembroidery.co.za or WhatsApp 061 445 3680 with your quote/order reference and a clear description (photos help).
  2. We will acknowledge and review the complaint.
  3. We aim to respond with a proposed resolution as soon as reasonably possible.
  4. If unresolved, you may use remedies available under South African law.
